In March of 2018, Dr. Michael J. Moore successfully defied the odds and accomplished the improbable by landing his first full-time Psychiatry MSL role at a mid-sized pharma company after a strategic six-month job search. At the time, he was an unemployed Biochemistry PhD graduate living in Austin, TX with no postdoctoral research experience, no scientific/clinical expertise in Psychiatry, no prior industry/MSL experience, and no existing KOL relationships to mental health providers/institutions in the Pacific Northwest (his assigned territory).

Over the past six years, Dr. Moore has amassed an accomplished career spanning large, mid-sized, and small/startup pharma companies as well as his current role in biotech at a medical device company, where he serves as Senior MSL/Head of Field Medical Training & Development. During this time, he has been an invited keynote speaker, popular podcast guest, and leading advocate of the MSL profession, spreading awareness and incisive insights into the nuances of this highly sought after industry role.
