Breakthrough MSL Masterclass: The Final Interview Presentation

For most companies, your final interview for the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role will involve a scientific/clinical presentation with a Q&A session, which will be unlike any presentation you’ve delivered in the past. The final interview presentation is the last and most critical opportunity to convince your interview panel that you can engage an audience of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) through masterful scientific communication and storytelling.

For candidates with no prior MSL experience, this presentation is a tightrope scenario with dramatic consequences: If you ace it, you may earn the benefit of the doubt over another candidate with MSL experience. If you falter or deliver a mediocre presentation, you won’t get the offer.

To overcome this barrier, you need to know the following:

  • How does a seasoned MSL present to KOLs?

  • How do MSL presentations differ from those you’ve given or seen in the past?

  • What are the practical strategies/tactics MSLs leverage to translate complex scientific concepts and dense clinical data to diverse audiences?

  • What will your interview panel be critiquing you on?

In this masterclass, Dr. Michael J. Moore will first present a full final interview presentation, followed by a detailed play-by-play breakdown of each section of his presentation with proven strategies, tactics, and industry secrets so you can impress your interview panel and effectively present like an experienced MSL.
